Hi, I’m Karen!

My social media journey began as an Advertising and Public Relations student at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. I interned for various respected brands throughout Orlando, assisting with their social media and general public relations needs. By the time I graduated with my Bachelors degree, I was one of the first students from the university to achieve a Certificate of Principles in Public Relations. But it wasn’t until I was recognized by the university for Best Social Media Campaign of the Year that I realized the value that I could bring to businesses on social media.

I have experience working with small businesses, large corporations, and nonprofits. Over the past decade I have worked with well-known brands and organizations such as the University of Central Florida, Universal Orlando Resort, Give Kids The World, Curley & Pynn Strategic Firm, and the Florida High-Tech Corridor.

Fast forward to today, and I have numerous accomplishments and recognitions under my belt, including my Masters in Business Administration and several social media awards for various campaigns. In the three short years after founding Social With Karen, I have helped 35+ businesses optimize their Instagram accounts for success.
